Venetoclax ialah ubat selektif pertama di dunia yang mensasarkan protein limfoma-2 sel-B (BCL-2). BCL-2 memainkan peranan penting dalam kanser darah tertentu atau kanser lain, mencegah kematian sel kanser (apoptosis).
